The Civil Guard Headquarters in Ciudad Real welcomed today 25 civil guard trainees who are joining the province to begin the second phase of their training. These new recruits, belonging to the 129th promotion of the Baeza Guard Academy and the 170th promotion of the Valdemoro Young Guards College, will be stationed in different municipalities of the province, including Herencia, where one of them will start serving. The welcome ceremony, presided over by the Government Sub-delegate in Ciudad Real, David Broceño, and Colonel Juan Antonio Valle, emphasized the importance of this new addition. According to Broceño, this group of 25 civil guards represents “the highest number to date,” allowing a coverage of 91.85% throughout the province, with a total of 1,173 personnel. In the case of Herencia, this reinforcement will be particularly significant in improving public safety in the municipality. The Government Sub-delegate stated that the arrival of these new civil guards is an important step in enhancing security in all municipalities of Ciudad Real, with a special focus on those with greater needs, such as Herencia. “This increase in personnel reflects the commitment of the Spanish Government to the protection and peace of our province, ensuring greater police coverage in areas where it is most needed,” Broceño declared. The new trainee civil guards will be stationed in various locations in the province, including Herencia. This reinforcement will help maintain order and provide a quicker and more efficient response to the security demands of the local population.
