The Youth Department, in compliance with one of the measures proposed in the Electoral Program, is launching a study room for university students or students in higher education, which will remain open throughout the Christmas holidays. This initiative was being demanded by students during festive periods.
The space, equipped with air conditioning and furniture for this purpose, will be located in the Training Center, and will have study spaces with power outlets to connect laptops with Wi-Fi access so that users can easily access the network from their devices, facilitating documentation and study tasks.
This free service will begin on December 11, from 8 am to 10 pm, and will operate throughout the Christmas holidays until January 15, except on Sundays and public holidays. To use the facility, prior registration will be necessary through the ‘Aymo’ app, and access will be through a pin code.
The councilor responsible for the area and the service, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, stated that “this is about responding to the demands of young people, who will have a suitable space for study, especially for those who have exams after the holidays. An initiative that aims to continue offering the best services to residents, without excuses and with all the facilities available to us.”
