Construction has begun on a new, glass-enclosed paddle tennis court in Herencia.

A few days ago, construction began on a new glass paddle tennis court at the Herencia sports complex. This new space, in addition to the three existing courts, promises to offer an enhanced and safer playing experience for users.

The new court will have a high-security panoramic enclosure made of tempered glass surrounding the entire playing area structure. This design not only ensures greater safety but also allows complete visibility from any point outside the court, improving the visual experience during games.

The total cost of the project amounts to 34,578 euros, an investment financed with provincial funds from the Herencia City Council. This action is part of the municipality’s commitment to improving and expanding local sports facilities.

It is expected that the new court will be available for use in the coming weeks, once the installation of lighting and the automatic system for controlling the opening and closing of doors, as well as the turning on and off of lights, is completed.
