Herencia dresses up for a Christmas program full of tradition and fun.

The Christmas is just around the corner and the Herencia City Council is preparing to celebrate these holidays with a range of cultural activities designed to delight both young and old. Taking up traditions and adding a touch of innovation, the Christmas program promises to reflect the joy and magic that are characteristic of this time of year.

The start of the festivities will be marked by the celebration of the events commemorating the Constitution, with a children’s council meeting that will involve the youngest citizens in civic life, and an institutional event that will bring the community together in the Town Hall courtyard. On December 6, a spectacular lighting of Christmas lights will illuminate the town, leading to the opening of the Magichristmas ‘The Refuge of the Elves’; a space where fantasy and fun will come together in workshops, games, and many surprises throughout the season.

At the XI Exhibition of Popular Nativity Scenes, residents can enjoy the artistic and devout expression of the town, while various musical performances will liven up the streets and squares of Herencia. The sporting events, already announced, will complement this calendar full of activities aimed at making Herencia an even more welcoming and festive place.

The Municipal Auditorium will be the stage for the main theatrical and musical offerings, highlighting the performance of comedian Agustín Durán and events such as the presentation of Unísono or the Christmas Galas of various local associations. In addition, music and carols will resound in the auditions of the Municipal School of Music.

The neighborhoods of Herencia will also be filled with Christmas spirit with the arrival of the Royal Herald and, of course, with the much-awaited visit of the Three Kings of the Orient, who will travel through the most emblematic places in the town, spreading joy and gifts.

The Councilor for Culture, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, has called on all residents of Herencia to join in the celebration: “We want all residents to enjoy an unforgettable Christmas, sharing and creating memories with their loved ones in our municipality, which has been prepared with much affection to receive these special dates.”

With this spirit, Herencia stands out as a perfect destination to experience Christmas with family, with activities that combine the warmth of tradition and the spark of novelty.
