Heritage welcomes Christmas with the celebration of the X Exhibition of Popular Nativity Scenes and Christmas Villages, which will be available for visiting from December 20, 2024 to January 6, 2025. This event, which is already a established tradition, has the participation of residents, institutions, and hermitages, who have joined efforts and creativity to present an unforgettable experience.
A showcase with history and novelties
In this tenth edition, the exhibition includes 11 Nativity scenes and, as a novelty, two Christmas villages that complement this artistic and cultural proposal. Each Nativity scene, located in different points of the municipality, reflects the effort and dedication of the families and collectives that organize them. These nativity scenes, full of details, represent customs, traditions, and biblical scenes that capture the essence of Christmas.
Among the highlighted Nativity scenes are the one at the Convent of La Merced, the Monumental Nativity of the Parish of Immaculate Conception, the Nativity of the Hermitage of San Bartolomé, and the one from the Cobos Sánchez-Paulete Family, among others. In addition, the Christmas villages, located on San Antón Avenue and Jesús Madero Street, offer a special touch with their unique representations that include local and biblical elements.

Opening hours and recommendations
Although the Nativity scenes are open to the public, the organization informs that many of them are located in private homes, so the opening hours may vary. Therefore, it is recommended to consult in advance the availability, especially on specific dates.
The route map, detailing the locations of the Nativity scenes and Christmas villages, is available to facilitate the visit.

A special thank you

The X Exhibition of Popular Nativity Scenes and Christmas Villages promises to be a magical experience for all those who wish to immerse themselves in the Christmas spirit, enjoying the art, tradition, and unity that characterize these dates in Herencia.
