In a coordinated effort to ensure the success and safety of the upcoming Carnival festivities in Herencia, the Local Security Board was held on Tuesday. This key event, which took place in the town of La Mancha, was attended by Serafín Tajuelo, councilor for citizen security, as well as representatives of the Civil Guard, Local Police, and Civil Protection.
Special Device for the Carnival
The security device has been carefully designed to cover all planned activities, from the “Viernes de Prisillas” on February 2nd and the “Sábado de los Ansiosos” on February 3rd to officially kick off the Carnival, to the Burial of the Sardine on Wednesday, February 14th. This comprehensive plan includes several crucial aspects to ensure safety during the carnival, especially considering the large influx of the public and the implications for traffic and urban mobility.
Reinforcement of the Civil Guard and Continuous Surveillance
The Civil Guard will reinforce its presence with units from across the province, while the Local Police will maintain personnel on duty 24 hours a day.
