The solidarity spirit of Herencia will be manifesting this Sunday, April 28th, with a series of events to support the fight against cancer, coinciding with the celebrations of International Book Day and International Dance Day. The day promises to be a moment of community gathering and support for a transcendent cause, marked by participation and joy.
The day will start at 10 in the morning in Plaza de España, where a non-competitive march suitable for all audiences will depart. Organized by the Spanish Association against Cancer in collaboration with the City Council and the support of local entities, this event aims to be a gesture of solidarity and unity in the face of adversity. With a small registration fee of 5 euros, which includes a commemorative t-shirt, participants will contribute to research and support for people affected by cancer. Registrations are already available through the digital platform ‘Aymo’ and can also be made by calling the provided numbers.
In the afternoon, at 5 pm, Plaza de España will once again be the stage of ‘Bailee’, a cultural and festive activity that merges literature and dance. With a circuit of activities that promise to delight attendees of all ages, the event invites to enjoy live music, interactive workshops, storytelling, and much more. A giant mural, created by all attendees, will serve as a symbol of creativity and community participation.
Both events not only offer an opportunity for enjoyment and learning, but also reaffirm Herencia’s commitment to social causes by dedicating all proceeds to cancer research. This confluence of culture and solidarity is a clear reflection of the values promoted by Herencia, where mutual support and collaboration are the cornerstones of the community.
