The prize, worth 600 euros, has been awarded to Jessica Gonpra for her captivating work “I don’t think so”.

The jury, composed of renowned painting specialists Beatriz Pérez de Bustos and María del Señor Fernández-Amaro Díaz-Pavón, had the difficult task of selecting the winner from the numerous and talented entries. M.ª Dolores Rodero González and Juan Manuel Torres Zambudio stood out as finalists in a contest that celebrates creativity and female expression through art.

The award ceremony will take place within the Commemorative Event of International Women’s Day, on March 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the Courtyard of the Town Hall, in an event that promises to be an emotional recognition of artistic talent and sensitivity.

In addition, the public will have the opportunity to admire the participating works, including the winning piece, in an exhibition open at the Herencia House Courtyard during March and April. Visitors can immerse themselves in each artist’s universe, exploring their visions and narratives “In a Woman’s Key” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The contest’s organization extends thanks to all participating artists for their contribution and warmly congratulates Jessica Gonpra for her well-deserved victory, which not only enhances the artistic quality of Herencia but also reinforces the town’s commitment to gender equality and cultural promotion.
