The writer Paloma González Rubio has been honored with the prestigious “Immortals” award for her work “Dead Boys”. This award, organized by the Municipal Library of Herencia, the Youth Department, and the local high schools, aims to recognize and promote literature among young people.
The jury, composed of 3rd and 4th year high school students and 1st year baccalaureate students, was responsible for choosing the winning work. After a justified vote, they decided that “Dead Boys” deserved the title of “Immortal” for its outstanding narrative and its ability to connect with young readers.
The official award ceremony will take place at a special gala on Friday, June 7th at 12:30 pm in the courtyard of the Herencia Town Hall. During this event, the award will be presented to Paloma González Rubio, in recognition of her contribution to the literary world and her ability to capture the attention of young audiences.
