Herencia’s female youth beach handball team has already set the dates, group, and opponents for the next Copa de España, organized by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation. The tournament will take place at Playa Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Barbate, Cadiz from June 16th to June 18th, 2023. On Friday, June 16th, the Herencia players, known as “Quijote’s Herencia”, will face several teams in Group C. The first match will be against BM Playa Rayito Salinero at 1:00 p.m. on Field 2. Later, at 5:40 p.m., they will face NICOSUR BMP Las Peris on Field 8. Finally, at 9:00 p.m., they will battle Montequinto Ciudad Dos Hermanas on Field 5. The other teams competing in Group C alongside Quijote’s Herencia are NICOSUR BMP. Las Peris, BM Playa Rayito Salinero, and Montequinto Ciudad de Dos Hermanas. In addition to Group C, two other groups will compete in the Copa. Grupo A is composed of Fundación Fomento Deporte, CBMP Ciudad de Málaga “A”, BM Getasur, and BMP Urci Almería Agrupalmería. Meanwhile, Group B has Playas de Fuengirola, Club Handbol Xàbia, BM Barbate, and Las Leonas Beach. Herencia’s team faces this challenge with enthusiasm and hope, with the aim of leaving the name of Herencia at the top.
