The neighborhood of La Labradora in celebration: honors, traditions, and fun.

Once again, the neighborhood of La Labradora is getting dressed up to celebrate its traditional festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption. The streets are already pulsating with the excitement and expectations of days filled with devotion, tradition, and fun.

These celebrations, which stand out for being some of the most crowded and anticipated in the locality, are the result of the dedication and joint efforts of the Brotherhood of Jesus of Medinaceli and Virgin of the Assumption, with the support and collaboration of the Herencia Town Council.

On Monday, the 14th, the epicenter of the party will be the band placement ceremony for the Ladies of the Festivities in Honor of the Most Holy Mary of the Assumption “La Labradora”. An event that will begin at 10:00 p.m. and will serve as the starting point for the celebrations. But that won’t be all for that night. Subsequently, the court of honor for the 2023 Fair and Festivities will be named, and to end on a high note, attendees will be able to enjoy the music and talented performance of the Virginia Trio.

However, the climax of these festivities will arrive on Tuesday, the 15th. On this festive day, devotion and fervor will come together at 7:00 p.m. with the main function in honor of the Virgin, followed by the solemn procession. The streets of the neighborhood will bear witness to the faith and devotion of its inhabitants and the many visitors who join this tradition year after year.

But the festivities will not stop there. Once the procession is over, fun will be guaranteed for the whole family with the show “The Knights of Magic,” a show full of illusionism and surprises. In addition, local culture and tradition will have their space in the Craft Market that will be set up on the street, offering a wide variety of products and unique pieces.
