The Marchante-Moreno Manzanaro family received a visit from the Minister of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, Francisco Martinez Arroyo, accompanied by the Mayor Sergio García Navas, the Councillor for Economic Promotion Jose Manuel Bolaños, and the Councillor for Rural Development Gabriel Carrero.
This family, led by the young livestock farmer Alba Marchante along with Vicente Marchante and Pedro Moreno Manzanaro, is dedicated to livestock farming and meat processing, and has a sheep farm that is now also sold directly to consumers.
During the visit, the minister announced that the Government of Castilla-La Mancha intends to modify the Rural Women Statute to promote the entrepreneurial and cooperative development of entities that have a higher percentage of women in their governing bodies.
