The Municipal Swimming Pool will have more trees for shade.

The Herencia City Council is already working on adapting the Municipal Swimming Pool for the upcoming bathing season. Mayor Sergio García-Navas and Sports Councillor Francisco Gallego de la Sacristana, accompanied by the municipal architect and the sports coordinator, have visited the facilities to supervise the work being carried out.

Among the improvements being made is the planting of different species to improve the natural shading of the space, offering new places for recreation and enjoyment. Specifically, 15 mulberry trees and 12 chamerok palms are being planted, with a budget of €13,050.15. This action responds to a need and demand from users and will represent an improvement in the use and comfort of the installation.

In addition, pruning and maintenance work has been carried out on the oldest pines to promote the necessary entry of light to the grass and smaller plants. These actions aim to ensure that the installation is in optimal condition for the start of the bathing season, with the sole objective of satisfying the proposals made by residents who use this environment in the summer.

It should be noted that over the last two years, a comprehensive renovation of this municipal enclave has been carried out, making it a more modern and accessible place. With this renovation, the Herencia City Council seeks to offer residents and visitors a quality and adapted installation to current needs.

In short, the adaptation of the Herencia Municipal Swimming Pool is a demonstration of the City Council’s commitment to improving public spaces and the well-being of citizens. With these actions, the aim is to offer users a comfortable and adapted space so that they can enjoy the bathing season with total safety and comfort.
