New improvements in the Pedriza area seek to enhance its use and activities.

With the pilgrimages approaching, the improvements in the Pedriza natural area are being completed in order to condition this increasingly visited space and promote its use.

Among the improvements, accessible toilets for visitors have been constructed, new picnic tables with seats have been installed, and children’s games have been added to complement the existing area.

In addition, 13 new lamps have been placed in the barbecue area and the old ones have been replaced with LED technology to reduce energy consumption.

The project also includes the installation of a closed circuit surveillance camera system, providing security and control in the area, acting as a deterrent and facilitating identification in case of accidents, thefts, or vandalism.

The mayor, Sergio García-Navas, the urbanism councillor Francisco J. Gallego de la Sacristana, and the municipal architect visited the ongoing improvements in this popular place for local residents and visitors to enjoy.

These works, which cost 80,000 euros, have been financed thanks to the Provincial Government of Ciudad Real.
