The poster for the Weekend Fest, which will take place during the San Isidro and Virgen de la Cabeza pilgrimages on May 13 and May 20, respectively, has been released. The Herencia City Council collaborates once again with both brotherhoods to give splendor to these festivities, which bring together hundreds of people to enjoy the countryside and socializing in a well-established tradition with a playful-religious character.
In addition to the liturgical events, various parallel activities have been programmed to spend a pleasant day with family and friends in an exceptional environment. Music will once again be the main focus at the Pedriza site, where there will also be youth activities and inflatables to enjoy for the little ones.
On the night of the 13th, the Estopa Tribute concert will take place, and around midnight, the performances of DJs Romero, Brenda Serna, and Xule Garcia. The following week, during the Weekend Fest, the tribute concert to El Canto del Loco will take place, and to close the program, DJs Kous, Krumel, and Pablo Abengoza will perform.
As in previous editions, there will be a free shuttle service from the station to La Pedriza, which extends the hours from 19:00 to 06:00. A unified medical post between Civil Protection and Red Cross will also be installed at the Nature Classroom to address any emergency that may arise.
This year, there will also be new toilets, an extension of the number of picnic tables with their corresponding seats, and new children’s games that complement the existing area. In addition, a total of 13 new luminaires have been installed in the barbecue area, thus enhancing the use of this natural space.
The municipality is ready to enjoy two of the most popular and well-established festivals in the heart of nature, with good music and the best atmosphere in the area popularly known as “Pozos del Agua.”
