Students in grades 3 through 6 at primary schools in Herencia enjoyed a fun activity organized by the local library called “Express Rescue”. In this event, the students were tasked with freeing board games that had been “kidnapped” and would soon be available for borrowing at the library.
To accomplish the games’ liberation, the students had to accumulate points by participating in various recreational activities. With enthusiasm and collaboration, they succeeded in overcoming the challenges presented and accumulated the necessary points to complete the mission.
Thanks to the success of this activity, the rescued board games will be available for borrowing at the Herencia library starting in May. The “Express Rescue” initiative proved to be an excellent opportunity to promote interaction and teamwork among students, while also encouraging the use of resources offered by the local library.
