Herencia is offering its senior citizens and retirees the opportunity to benefit from a 50% reduction in the rate of household waste collection and disposal. This measure, which is already available, is aimed at people over 65 or retired residents of the locality, and aims to alleviate the economic burden that such payments can represent for families.
The annual discount is an effort by the municipality to ensure that all its inhabitants can access the necessary municipal services in an equitable manner. By reducing the rate for seniors and retirees, the possible financial difficulty that these individuals may face is recognized and measures are taken to alleviate that pressure.
Applications for this rate reduction can be submitted until May 24th at the Casa de Herencia. Interested parties can go there from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., to submit their application and obtain more information.
