The female teams of the sports schools of the City Council of Herencia had a remarkable performance on Saturday May 13th at the VII Women’s Handball Tournament “Diputación de Jaén”, held in Torredelcampo. The event, which was more focused on socializing than competition, brought together teams from all over the province of Jaén, providing participants with a fun-filled day of handball. Despite its non-competitive approach, Herencia’s teams demonstrated their worth with impressive results. The Alevín Femenino and Infantil Femenino teams of Herencia won the tournament with gold medals, while the Cadete Femenino team took home a bronze medal. These results are a testimony to the skill, commitment, and passion that the young handball players of Herencia bring to the sport. The organizers of the event want to thank the GAB Jaén club, Grupo Amigos Balonmano Jaén, and Balonmano Femenino Torredelcampo for inviting them to the tournament. They also extended their gratitude to BM Villafranca for sharing the experience with some of their players, who joined Herencia’s teams for the event. The City Council of Herencia and the Federation of Castilla La Mancha Handball expressed their pride in the teams’ achievements and thanked Fibritel for their support in the event.
