The Sports Council of Herencia has announced that the Municipal Pool will open its doors on June 10, one week earlier than initially planned. The facility will remain open until September 10, providing a leisure and recreation spot during the hottest months of the year.
Over the past few months, a series of improvements and modernization work has been carried out at the facility. These include cleaning, gardening, plumbing, painting, as well as filling and setting up the three pool basins.
In addition to these enhancements, a swings area has been installed, and shade spaces in the green areas have been expanded. This will provide users with a more comfortable and enjoyable experience during their visit.
Mayor Sergio García-Navas and Francisco José Gallego de la Sacristana, Councilor for Sports, accompanied by the Works manager and Sports coordinator, visited the facility to see first-hand the progress of these improvements. Both expressed their satisfaction with the work carried out and their excitement about the upcoming opening of the pool.
