On June 9th, Herencia’s Summer Auditorium will be all dressed up for the IV Herenciana Sports Night, an event that marks the end of the 22/23 sports season and has become a must-attend event on the local sports calendar. The purpose of this celebration is to honor athletes, clubs, and coaches who have excelled throughout the season, bringing together the cream of the crop of Herencia’s sports community in an atmosphere of recognition and celebration for the effort and achievements accomplished.
During the gala, all the participants of this season’s Sports Schools will receive a gift, while those athletes and clubs who have distinguished themselves by their performance will be awarded in different categories. These awards, which include individual and collective athlete prizes, sports trajectory, sports support, values in sports, special mentions, and inclusive sports, will be chosen by the Local Sports Council and will be announced in the coming days.
This event not only rewards achievements and effort, but also highlights the support of families and the dedication of coaches and volunteers who have contributed throughout the season to transmit the essential values of sports.
After the Sports Night, the action continues with the Sports Rotation Day, which will take place on the morning of Saturday, June 10th. During this day, participants can try out different sports disciplines such as athletics, active dance, badminton, basketball, handball, cycling, football, beach handball, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, paddle tennis, tennis, and volleyball. Registrations for this day are open until June 2nd at the Municipal Sports Service offices.
The end of this season will not be the end of sporting activities in Herencia. Soon, registrations will begin for summer activities such as swimming or the Summer School, promising to maintain the excitement and energy of the regular season.
