In the days leading up to the XIX Story Marathon and Arts Fair, the children from the “Corresponsables” program had the opportunity to visit the Municipal Library of Herencia and take part in a special storytelling session.
The young participants, aged between three and ten years old, went on a tour of the library facilities, where they had the chance to learn about the various services it offers. Some of the participants even shared stories they had invented themselves, adding a touch of creativity and originality to the visit.
The storytelling session wouldn’t have been complete without contributions from the library staff and the youth technician, who also actively took part in the activity. The newly appointed Youth and Library councilor, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, surprised everyone present with a fun story, once again demonstrating the commitment of the local government to promoting reading among young people.
This activity allowed the nearly 60 participating children to prepare for the eagerly awaited XIX Story Marathon, which will take place this Friday in the municipal park starting at 9:00 PM. This annual event represents a great opportunity to foster a love for literature among the youth of Herencia, and there is no doubt that the participants of the “Corresponsables” program will be more than prepared to enjoy the exciting night of storytelling that awaits them.
