The Youth Center of Herencia has become, these days, a space dedicated to the art and technique of photography. Thanks to the Mobile Photography Workshop, a group of 10 enthusiastic young people, aged between 12 and 15, has had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of image capture, using the most common and accessible device: the mobile phone.
The workshop, structured in two phases, combined theory and practice so that young people could understand and subsequently apply different techniques. The first phase, of a theoretical nature, took place at the Youth Center facilities. While the second, decidedly more practical, took the young people to the Municipal Park of Herencia, a perfect setting to test their skills and creativity.
This initiative, organized by the Youth Department, has a dual purpose. On the one hand, it seeks to enrich the range of knowledge of these young people, providing them with useful and current tools in the world of photography. On the other hand, it aims to promote interaction and the creation of meeting spaces, where participants can share experiences and enjoy alternative leisure time during the summer.
We cannot fail to mention the figure of Lolo, from Educinema, who was in charge of the training. With his experience and dedication, he had already introduced many to the art of film dubbing in a previous workshop held in April, which was received with great enthusiasm.
From here, we extend our congratulations to all the participants who will surely now look at their surroundings with different eyes, always seeking the best angle and perfect light for their photographs. Congratulations to all and may they continue to capture unique moments!
