The Junta reinforces its commitment to Herencia to improve the well-being of its inhabitants.

The Delegate of the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government in Ciudad Real, Blanca Fernández, has reiterated her determination to further strengthen the already consolidated ties with the City Council of Herencia. This decision has as its main objective to contribute to the well-being and development of the citizens of the town.

Fernández’s statements came after a meeting with the mayor of Herencia, Sergio García-Navas, at the Delegation of the Regional Government in Ciudad Real. During this meeting, both parties reviewed both pending and future commitments that the regional government has established with the municipality.

Fernández emphasized that they have defined specific lines of work in health, infrastructure, and business areas. “Our link with the City Council of Herencia is already solid and has had significant results. However, we remain committed to strengthen it for the well-being of the citizens,” she commented. She also highlighted the importance of Herencia continuing on its path of progress and development.

One of the most notable aspects of the meeting was the assessment of the strength of Herencia’s business fabric. Fernández, along with García-Navas, emphasized its dynamism and the commitment that the Government of Emiliano García-Page has with this sector.

For his part, Mayor Sergio García-Navas praised the collaboration between the City Council and the Regional Government, which has worked “perfectly” in previous terms. As proof of this alliance, he mentioned the increase in the medical quota in Herencia last year. “I am sure that these synergies will continue in the future,” he said.

Finally, García-Navas detailed some of the shared projects that were discussed during the meeting. Among them, the remodeling of the Villafranca road, the construction of the new health center, and the future inclusion of Herencia in the Network of Hostels of Castilla-La Mancha stand out.

The meeting, therefore, not only reflected the existing commitment, but also made it clear the joint path that both institutions intend to follow for the benefit of the town and its inhabitants.
