The Puerto Rican José Raúl Ramírez, based in Herencia (Ciudad Real), will exhibit from September 30th to October 29th at the Interpretation Center of Sinners and Dancers in Camuñas (Toledo).
Under the intriguing title “Sleep with me through the gaze”, José Raúl Ramírez presents his first exhibition dedicated exclusively to printmaking on different and innovative materials that will not leave anyone indifferent.
About José Raúl Ramírez Lopéz
José Raúl Ramírez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1968, but he has been residing in Herencia (Ciudad Real) for several years. He is a visual artist, trained at the University of Fine Arts in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Department of Art Education, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 1992. He traveled to Europe in search of the artistic movements of the moment, and it is in Spain where he settled and studied.
In addition to his training at the Caravaggio State Artistic Lyceum in Milan and the Elisa Lemonnier Lyceum in Paris, he has participated in various collective and individual exhibitions. He has also been a painting and printmaking teacher in various cultural centers in towns in the region such as Alcázar de San Juan or Herencia.
