Herencia is getting ready for its traditional San Silvestre race with a charitable purpose.

On December 31st, the streets of Herencia will be filled with celebration and sportsmanship with the celebration of a new edition of the San Silvestre Herenciana. This event, already rooted in the locality, is organized by the Cultural Association Jarra y Pedal and has the collaboration of the Municipal Sports Service of Herencia.

The San Silvestre Herenciana is not only a sporting event, but also an opportunity to demonstrate the community’s spirit of solidarity. This year, the race will have a charitable character in favor of Las Supernenas, who will allocate the funds raised to AFANION, the Association of Families of Children with Cancer. This collaboration reflects the commitment of the Herenciana society to social causes and its willingness to support those in need.

The event promises to be a day full of enthusiasm and goodwill, where participants can bid farewell to the year in an active and healthy way. The race is divided into two categories: the children’s race, which will start at 11:30 a.m., and the 5 km race for adults, which will begin at 12:00 p.m. Both tests will have their starting and finishing point at the emblematic Plaza de España, the heart of Herencia.

The San Silvestre Herenciana is an excellent opportunity for the community to come together in an event that combines sports, fun and solidarity. The organization encourages everyone interested to register at the establishments indicated on the event poster.

This race is another example of the welcoming and solidarity character of Herencia, where neighbors of all ages can enjoy a sports day while contributing to a noble cause. Expectations are high and everything indicates that it will be an unforgettable year-end for the locality.
