Herencia shines in the CESA 2024 Call with a broad representation.

Herencia is proud to announce a remarkable presence at the upcoming Spanish Autonomous Communities Handball Championship (CESA), which will take place from January 2nd to 7th in Blanes (Girona). This sporting event, sponsored by the Handball Federation of Castilla-La Mancha (@fbmclm), has become a prominent platform for emerging talent in this sport.

In an exciting news for the Herencia community, a total of nine local athletes have been selected to represent the community in various categories, showcasing the high level of handball in Herencia.

In the Female Infant category, Herencia will be represented by Aldara Elena Martínez, Elena González, Claudia Fernández Toribio, and Laura Martín Buitrago, promising young talents who have demonstrated their skill and dedication on the field. The Female Cadet category will feature the participation of Inés Figuero and Claudia González Román, while in the Female Juvenile category, Arancha López Escribano and Blanca Gómez Calcerrada will be the standard bearers for the town.

In addition, Francisco Javier García Arias, a highly respected coach from Herencia, has been chosen as the coordinator of the Castilla-La Mancha expedition, bringing his experience and knowledge to the team.

It is worth noting that Herencia’s own Inmaculada García Navas (@inmagnav._) will also have a stellar performance at the CESA, but this time representing the Galicia team, which demonstrates her outstanding level and versatility in handball.

This impressive representation of Herencia at the 2024 CESA is not only a source of pride for the community, but also an opportunity for these young talents to showcase their skills, learn, and grow both personally and athletically. From Herencia, we wish them much success and, above all, that they enjoy and enrich themselves from this unique experience in the world of handball.
