Inheritance promotes employability with the Home Care Course for unemployed individuals.

The Mayor of Herencia, Sergio García-Navas, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Conchi Rodríguez Palancas, have taken a significant step towards improving employability in the town with the launch of the Home Care Course. This training program, which took place at the Herencia Training and Employment Center, is aimed at individuals aged 45 to 60 who are unemployed or inactive.

The initiative, which consists of 90 hours of free training during the month of March, is part of the 45+ Program, implemented by the Chambers of Commerce and co-financed by the ESF+. The course has a dual vision: on one hand, it provides training tailored to the capabilities of each participant, and on the other, it aims to facilitate job placement and strengthen the employability of the participants.

With a practical and direct approach, the program has been designed to meet the current demands of the job market, focusing especially on those facing greater difficulties in accessing employment. The Home Care Course not only equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for home care and assistance but also opens up pathways to new job opportunities in a growing sector.

During their visit, the mayor and councilor were able to witness the progress and enthusiasm of the students, who are now one step closer to integrating into the workforce thanks to this training. The initiative has been well received by the participants, who see this course as a window of hope and a new professional stage.

Thus, the Herencia City Council reaffirms its commitment to continuous education and the creation of opportunities for all citizens, especially for those facing the challenge of unemployment later in their career. These programs not only contribute to economic revitalization but also strengthen the social and community fabric of the town.
