On the night of last Saturday, the Summer Auditorium of Herencia became the epicenter of the sports celebration with the fifth edition of the Night of Sports. This annual event aims to recognize and honor athletes who have stood out throughout the season in the various activities of the Municipal Sports Schools.
An Event of Recognition and Celebration
The ceremony was attended by numerous clubs, representatives of sports collectives, as well as family members of the athletes and other special guests. Among the attendees was Luis Pasamontes, a former professional cyclist, whose presence added a special touch to the night.
Awards and Recognitions
The event also served as an occasion for the presentation of awards granted by the Local Council of Sports and Physical Activity in seven categories. These awards recognize excellence and effort in various areas of sports in Herencia:

– Team Sports Award: Herencia CF and SMD BM Quijote Herencia Infantil Femenino.
– Sports Career Award: Paula Moya Iniesta.
– Sports Support Award: Tubyder Prefadhor SL.
– Values in Sports Award: Pedro Rodríguez de Tembleque Tajuelo.
– Inclusion in Sports Award: Víctor Gallego de la Sacristana Díaz-Flores.
– Special Sports Mention: José Juan Diaz-Meco González-Román.

The organization expressed gratitude to all the clubs, representatives, and families who participated in the ceremony. Likewise, the awardees were congratulated for their achievements, and all the nominees were praised for their constant contribution to sports in Herencia.
