On Tuesday, August 20, registrations begin for the Municipal Sports Schools of Herencia for the 2024/2025 season, organized by the Municipal Sports Service. These registrations will mark the beginning of a season full of novelties, both in the facilities and in the sports activities, aimed at all ages.
Children’s activities will start on Monday, September 9, with a wide variety of disciplines including Athletics, Active Dance, Basketball, Handball, Cycling, Soccer, Futsal, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Multisport, Padel, Tennis, and Volleyball. These activities are intended for children born between the years 2009 and 2020. Some modalities, such as Active Dance and Futsal, have expanded their group offerings to meet the growing demand recorded in the previous season.
On the other hand, activities for adults will begin on Tuesday, October 1, with an offer that includes Body Training Dance, Maintenance Gymnastics, Pilates, Padel, and Hiking. This year, the main novelties in the adult offer include expanding the Pilates groups, as well as the incorporation of two new disciplines: Indoor Cycling and Functional Training. These new activities, along with Body Training Dance and Active Dance for children, will be taught at the new Municipal Sports Center.
The new Municipal Sports Center, located in the annexes of the Municipal Sports Center, is one of the great novelties of this season. Its facilities include two collective rooms, a specific room for Indoor Cycling, a Functional Training room, and a Gym equipped with machinery for cardiovascular and muscular training. The official opening of the Municipal Gym is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, while registrations to access its facilities will begin on Monday, September 2.
Regarding the registration process, the Municipal Sports Service continues to bet on telematic processing. Registrations can be made through the official platform enabled, accessible through a QR code available on promotional posters, or through the AyMo APP. To facilitate the process, the APP includes a video tutorial that explains in detail how to complete the registration.
