The Dance School “Attitude” triumphs in Rome representing Spain and Castilla-La Mancha in the CND Europa competition.

The Dance School “Attitude” in Campo de Criptana has made a mark on the European scene after their outstanding participation in the prestigious CND Europa competition held in Rome from November 1 to 3. Led by the dancers from Herencia, Celia Martín and Julián García, the Spanish team won several prizes, demonstrating the quality and commitment of dance from Castilla-La Mancha in an international competition.

Reaching the final was not an easy task for dancers Celia Martín and Julián García. Both had to overcome two demanding qualifying rounds: a regional one in Ventas de Retamosa (Toledo) and a national one in Burgos, where they stood out with their performances to earn a spot in the final in Rome. With effort and perseverance, they managed to reach this large-scale event, where they achieved outstanding results:

– Celia Martín was crowned runner-up in Europe along with her partner Helena Córdoba in the fusion category 3. With their duet titled “False Confidence,” a mix of acrobatic exercises and modern jazz, the dancers captivated the jury with their versatility and technique, achieving a acclaimed second place.

– Julián García won the third prize in the fusion category 4, accompanied by his partner Kokó Cristina Tamaki. Their piece “Synergies,” a neoclassical style choreography, stood out for its emotion and precision, placing them on the podium with a bronze medal.

In addition to these individual achievements, the Dance School “Attitude” won several additional prizes in other categories, confirming their excellence and diversity in different dance styles:

– First Prize for Marta Cano in the Bolero School category 4, a recognition that highlights her skill in this traditional Spanish technique.

– Second Prize for the group “Van por el aire” in the preparatory category of fusion mode.

– Second Prize for the group “Al son del compás” in the flamenco discipline, a performance that celebrated the roots of Spanish dance.

– Second Prize for the youth group “Zambra Gitana,” whose performance overflowed with energy and passion.

– Second Prize for the duo “Soulmates,” formed by Marta Cano and Ana Belén Díaz Parreño, who demonstrated great synchrony and emotion in their presentation.

With these awards, the Dance School “Attitude” reaffirms its place in the European dance scene. Their motto, “Work writes our History,” is particularly relevant as it demonstrates that effort, discipline, and passion can take dancers to the highest levels of international competition.

For the community of Castilla-La Mancha and Spain, the achievements of “Attitude” represent a true source of pride, highlighting the cultural value and emerging talent of the region.
