The Mercedarian Parents’ School, Carpe Diem Center, and El Picazuelo Occupational Center have joined forces to organize the Sensitization days focused on a protective environment. The sessions will take place in four parts and will involve professionals from the UAVDI’s psychology unit and the Municipal School of Music in Herencia.
The main objective of these sessions is to raise awareness in the community about the importance of a protective environment for individuals with disabilities. These sessions aim to provide attendees with tools and knowledge to promote a safe and supportive environment. The sessions will be multidisciplinary, including experts in psychology, music, and special education.
With the collaboration of these three institutions and the participation of specialized professionals, the Sensitization days aim to promote the inclusion and respect towards people with disabilities. These activities reflect the commitment of the Mercedarian Parents’ School, Carpe Diem Center, and El Picazuelo Occupational Center to improving the quality of life and inclusion of people with disabilities in society.
