The IES Hermogenes Rodriguez is launching an open event for the whole community at the Municipal Auditorium of Herencia, in collaboration with the Herencia City Council and various local entities and companies committed to investing in the future through the education of young people. Our goal is to bring in role models for students, who they can identify with and who can offer their perspectives on academic life and the workforce, regardless of the educational path they choose or their professional aspirations. All students in 4th year of ESO, 1st and 2nd year of Bachillerato in the locality are invited. This first orientation day in Herencia will involve the collaboration of a total of eleven people, including former students of IES Hermogenes Rodriguez who are now in university or already in the workforce, current teachers and students of the center who can set an example for the students and experts in leadership in the workforce or in evolutionary and educational psychology. Each will bring their personal experience and perspective to the table. The opening of the event will be attended by the director of the IES, Luis Miguel Minarro Lopez, Chief of the Educational Planning Service, and Jose Manuel Bolanos Viso, Senator of the Spanish Parliament, City Councilor of Herencia and also a former student of the IES Hermogenes Rodriguez.
