Anna Yeguiazaryan classified in the Spanish Championship in the Alevín Mazas category.

Last weekend was especially important for Rhythmic Gymnastics in Herencia. Anna Yeguiazaryan, a young gymnast, qualified for the Spanish Championship in the Alevín Mazas category.

The qualifying control took place last Saturday in Albacete, and Anna put on a remarkable performance that allowed her to obtain the second position in her category and, what is even more important, to secure a spot in the Castilla La Mancha base training program. This is a great achievement for the young athlete, who has demonstrated her talent and dedication in each of her trainings.

The Spanish Championship will be held in Pamplona from April 18th to 23rd, and Anna will represent Herencia in this important sporting event. Without a doubt, it is an honor for her town that one of its gymnasts has the opportunity to compete in an event of this magnitude, and surely all the neighbors will be cheering her on and supporting her from a distance.

Rhythmic gymnastics is a discipline that combines elements of ballet, dance and gymnastics, and requires great precision, technique, and coordination. Movements are performed to the beat of music and executed with a series of implements, such as balls, hoops, clubs or ribbons. It is a very demanding discipline, requiring great discipline and perseverance in training, but also offering great satisfactions to those who practice it.

Anna’s qualification for the Spanish Championship is another example that sports are a very positive activity for young people, as they help them develop skills such as perseverance, self-demand, overcoming challenges, and the ability to work in a team. Additionally, it teaches values such as respect, solidarity, discipline, and the spirit of overcoming adversity.
