The month of August is turning out to be a real whirlwind for Venus Astra. It all started with the band’s confirmation at the Sonorama Ribera festival, where on August 10th they will showcase their new songs at the iconic Arandino festival. But the surprises don’t end there: on August 18th, Venus Astra will return to their hometown, Herencia, to present their first album in a very special concert. The band, whose members are originally from Herencia, is preparing this event with great care and promises to surprise their fans with some new surprises.
In addition, as the icing on the cake, Venus Astra has been confirmed for the third edition of Aldeafest, a festival that takes place on August 23rd and 24th in Valdeprado del Río (Cantabria). The band will perform on the 24th, closing out a month full of performances with the arrival of “Sin que el universo se inmute”, an album filled with a range of sounds from classic Spanish rock to the most current indie.
“Sin que el universo se inmute” (MusicHunters Records) is the first work of Venus Astra, a project that has been taking shape in recent years and debuted in 2022 with their first live shows. Since then, the band has grown and matured rapidly, and this first album is a testament to that. Recorded at Neo Music Box (Aranda de Duero) with Jose Caballero at the helm, the album now faces its first major test live.
Venus Astra, made up of musicians from Herencia, is where songs come to life and are presented directly to the public. Over the coming weeks, more news about Venus Astra will be revealed. For now, fans can enjoy the new single from a band that is destined to make a mark on the music scene.
