Herencia will host a comprehensive Introduction to Hiking Course on Saturday, April 6th, starting at 9:00 am at the Municipal Sports Center. This course, which coincides with the designation of Castilla-La Mancha as the European Region of Sport for the year 2024, is one of the many activities that have been organized to promote sports practice in the community.
The course, which is free and open to all those interested in delving into the world of hiking, will be divided into two parts: a theoretical session, taught by specialists from the Mountaineering Federation, and a practical part that promises to be an enriching experience. The practical part will consist of a guided route led by expert Juanfran Fdez.-Almoguera, a Hiking monitor from the Municipal Sports Schools, where participants can apply what they have learned in an unparalleled natural environment and explore the beauty of the local landscapes through an approximate 5-kilometer route.
For all those interested in discovering the secrets of hiking and enjoying a day of outdoor physical activity, registrations are open until Thursday, April 4th.
