This area will include a patient reception, a family and assistance area, a continuous care consultation, a versatile emergency room, waiting room, toilets, and storage spaces. Additionally, a residence for on-call healthcare personnel and changing rooms will be set up.
Other notable facilities of the new center will include a patient reception area, the admission and appointment unit, a Rehabilitation area with consultation, waiting room, and therapy area with boxes for treatments. It will also have a Dentistry consultation and spaces for the social worker support units, as well as a Management and Teaching area.
The Basic Health Zone of Herencia, belonging to the Integrated Care Management of Alcázar de San Juan, currently has 8,454 registered health cards. The Primary Care team consists of 5 Family Medicine professionals, 1 pediatrician, 6 nursing professionals, 2 administrative assistants, 1 physiotherapist, 1 dentist, 1 dental hygienist, 1 midwife, and 1 social worker. The latest additions have reinforced the staff to ensure quality care for patients.
