On Wednesday, October 4, on the occasion of the day of San Francisco de Asís, the San Francisco Residence of Herencia dressed up for the festivities. On this special occasion, Mayor Sergio García-Navas and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Conchi Rodríguez Palancas, were present to share and accompany the users, family members, sisters, and employees of the institution in commemorating their Patron’s day.
The Franciscan community of Herencia was present on this significant day of coexistence, where a mass was held in honor of the saint. After the religious ceremony, the attendees had the opportunity to share a pleasant moment of camaraderie, enjoying a small appetizer.
This event has become a tradition in the town, uniting the community around the figure of San Francisco de Asís and reflecting the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood that characterizes the San Francisco Residence and the community of Herencia in general.
