On October 9th, the eagerly anticipated childcare service started with enthusiasm, which will continue until June 20th. This service, which seeks to adapt to the needs of families, will be available from Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Families can choose to enroll their children in this space between two and five days a week.
To date, a total of 35 children born between the years 2017 and 2020 have enrolled in the childcare service. Of them, an average of 20 children attend daily, taking advantage of the opportunity to develop various skills. These little ones participate in different sessions of free play, interacting with other children their age, which allows them to socialize and forge new friendships.
The mayor Sergio García-Navas and the councilor of Youth, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, did not want to miss the opportunity to visit the center during these first days. Both officials have been able to see firsthand the joy and enthusiasm of the children with the return of this service. In addition, they have highlighted the importance of the childcare service as an essential tool to facilitate the balance between work and family life for the residents of the locality.
