Crash in Herencia leaves five injured, including two minors

In a regrettable incident, five people have been injured after a head-on and side collision between two cars on the CM-420 road in Herencia, Ciudad Real. The incident, which occurred on Monday at kilometer 39, involved complex rescue operations as the victims were trapped in the vehicles.

The emergency center 112 Castilla-La Mancha reported the collision at 16:49. Among the injured are two children aged 10 and 14, and three young women, two of whom are 20 years old and the other 29.

Emergency teams have transported the injured to the Hospital Mancha Centro in Alcázar de San Juan. The minors were treated in a UVI, while the three women were transported in emergency ambulances and vital support.

The Civil Guard and firefighters from Alcázar de San Juan also went to the site, assisting in the rescue and in restoring road safety. Currently, investigations are underway to clarify the circumstances that led to the crash.
