The El Picazuelo Occupational Center in Herencia has become a meeting point for environmental education, thanks to the environmental and recycling session held this morning in collaboration with the “You are the key” program of the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government.
Aligned with the upcoming celebrations of Consumer Day and Tree Day, this initiative aimed to raise awareness among the center’s users about the importance of responsible daily actions for the environment. The activity was an excellent platform to discuss how proper waste management and recycling practices can make a significant difference in the planet’s health.
The session provided valuable information and practical techniques for each participant to play an active role in protecting and maintaining a sustainable environment. Attendees left the session with reinforced knowledge about the importance of reducing waste generation and their commitment to applying these principles in their daily lives.
