Herencia is currently in the process of expanding its industrial estate, not only in physical terms but also in terms of energy capacity, with the aim of strengthening the local business fabric and attracting more investments. The projection includes the implementation of a third phase of expansion and the creation of a new road to improve access.
Currently, the industrial estate has 25,000 square meters of available land, after already commercializing 70% of its surface. To sustain and promote this development, the City Council plans to incorporate a medium voltage line from Villafranca de los Caballeros, a significant improvement that is expected to be completed before the end of the current term.
This strategic project not only aims to increase the energy capacity of the area but also to start urbanization works in the next legislative period, with the goal of making the industrial estate even more attractive for local companies and potential new investors.
The Mayor, Sergio García-Navas, has highlighted the importance of this expansion, pointing out the competitive prices of the plots as a decisive factor that has persuaded many companies in Herencia to continue investing and expanding within the locality. This strategy not only retains capital and jobs in Herencia but also boosts the economic growth of the region.
