On Friday afternoon, a fire broke out in the kitchen of the Casino de Herencia located in Plaza de España, causing material damage to the ground floor of the building. The fire, caused by two fryers, was quickly brought under control and no one was injured.
At around 3:00 pm, the Emergency Services 1-1-2 of Castilla-La Mancha received a notification about the incident in the casino. Luckily, the fire was extinguished without any casualties.
In response to the incident, the local police, Civil Guard, and Alcázar de San Juan Firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Thanks to their quick actions, they managed to prevent the fire from spreading and damaging other areas of the building or causing harm to anyone present.
Despite there being no casualties, the material damage to the ground floor of the Casino de Herencia is significant. Investigations are currently ongoing to determine the exact causes of the incident and establish accountability.
