In July, Herencia hosted a new edition of its already consolidated Summer Tennis Tournament. The second edition of the event, which was very successful, brought together about 20 players from different locations to compete in two phases: main and consolation.
In the main phase, Pablo Jiménez took the first place, while Jose Manuel Arias won the silver medal. In the consolation bracket, Claudio Germanetto was crowned champion, and Aitor Gallego took second place.
The trophy presentation ceremony was presided over by Serafín Tajuelo, Sports Councillor of the Herencia City Council, accompanied by Adrián de Molina, the tournament organizer. The presence of both highlighted the importance of the event and the municipality’s commitment to promoting sports.
The tournament stood out not only for the quality of tennis played but also for the opportunity it provided for participants to share and enjoy the sport in a competitive and friendly atmosphere. The competition ended with great participation and enthusiasm, promising to continue being a key event in the local sports calendar.
