On June 4th, the town of Herencia will show its solidarity in the fight against cancer through a charitable march organized by the Local Council of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). The event is aimed at raising funds for the battle against this disease and is a call for unity and hope, represented by each step taken in the 4-kilometer route.
The march is non-competitive and open to all, starting at 10:00 am in the Plaza de España. Participants can register up until the day of the event by calling the phone numbers provided on the event poster (678 68 53 54 or 687 02 83 26).
The registration cost is 5 euros which includes a commemorative event t-shirt. In addition to the march, the organizers have prepared a zumba Master-Class and lemonade for all participants as part of the activities that will take place after the march.
Commemorative t-shirts can be collected on June 1st from 7:00 to 10:00 pm at the local auditorium, and also on the day of the event from 9:30 am in the Plaza de España.
This AECC initiative in Herencia, under the slogan #TodosContraElCáncer (#AllAgainstCancer), aims not only to raise funds but also to sensitize and raise awareness among the population about the importance of prevention and early detection. Through this act of solidarity, Herencia joins the global battle against cancer.
