Herencia is preparing for the II Emotional Education Conference through Stories.

This month, Herencia will witness an important meeting dedicated to the transformative power of stories in emotional education. The 2nd Emotional Education Conference, organized by ASOFACAM (Association of Foster Families of Castilla-La Mancha) in collaboration with the “Miguel de Cervantes” Library, will take place on November 18th and 19th in the iconic Patio of the Town Hall.

These conferences, specially designed for mothers, fathers, teachers, social educators, and anyone who sees stories as a valuable tool for working with emotions, seek to become a space for exchange and reflection. It is an event that aims to enhance healthy emotional skills while fostering an environment of communication and debate.

One of the great attractions of these conferences will undoubtedly be the participation of renowned experts in children’s literature and socio-educational intervention. Among them, the presence of Alicia Bululú, a pedagogue and storyteller specialized in children’s and youth literature, stands out; Soledad Carcelén, who leads the Families for Educational Inclusion project in CLM; and Félix Albo, a renowned oral storyteller specializing in literature for children.

Thinking of facilitating the participation of families, the organization has provided a completely free playroom service for children between the ages of 3 and 10. In this way, while adults attend the conferences, the little ones can enjoy supervised recreational activities.
