Herencia has welcomed Christmas with an event full of light and color. Last Wednesday, December 6, the Local Government Team of the City Council, together with the Commerce Association and a multitude of neighbors, participated in the traditional lighting of the Christmas lights, an act that symbolizes the beginning of the festivities in the municipality.
The streets of Herencia have dressed up with bright lights and decorations that promise to fill all its inhabitants with Christmas spirit and joy. This year, Christmas in Herencia is presented as more magical and special than ever, with decorations that invite both young and old to enjoy these special dates.
The event also featured the inauguration of “Magichristmas, the elves’ refuge,” a new initiative led by the La Inmaculada Scout Group. This magical space will be the epicenter of numerous Christmas workshops for the children of Herencia, where they can enjoy fun and educational activities in a festive and welcoming environment.
“Magichristmas” not only offers fun and entertainment, but also has a charitable purpose, as the proceeds will be donated to the Phelan-McDermid Association, a noble cause that adds even more meaning to the celebration.
Christmas in Herencia is a clear example of how the unity of a town, its City Council, and local associations can create magical and memorable moments for everyone. With the lighting of the lights and the opening of “Magichristmas,” Herencia kicks off a season of festivities that will undoubtedly be filled with joy, solidarity, and lots of excitement.
