Herencia presents the schedule of events in honor of its Patroness, the Immaculate Conception.

On Sunday, November 19, the town of Herencia dressed up for the official presentation of the poster announcing the religious and festive events dedicated to its patron, the Immaculate Conception. The event was attended by the Councilor for Culture, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, who confirmed the support and collaboration of the Herencia City Council in the organization of the festivities.

The poster, a combination of art and devotion, features a photograph by José Antonio Fernández Baillo, capturing the essence of the veneration that Herencia professes for its patron. The design of the poster is the work of José Manuel Vega Guerra, a native of Camuñas and a graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. His work has managed to encapsulate both the solemnity and the fervor that accompany these festivities.

During the presentation, the Councilor for Culture, Aitor Gallego de la Sacristana, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration between the City Council and the Brotherhood, and highlighted the importance of keeping the traditions and cultural heritage of the town alive. Inmaculada Rodríguez-Palancas, President of the Brotherhood, thanked the continuous support of the municipality and emphasized the role of religious and festive events in the consolidation of the community and its identity.

The choice of the poster not only highlights the beauty of the patron and its meaning for the people of Herencia, but also represents the local artistic talent, combining tradition and modernity. The presentation of the poster is the prelude to a series of events that promise to be a meeting point for the entire community, strengthening faith and unity among its inhabitants.

The events in honor of the Immaculate Conception are an integral part of Herencia’s cultural and spiritual calendar, and this year, thanks to the collaboration between the Brotherhood and the City Council, an even more special and memorable celebration is expected.
