Under the motto “Leaders of the 21st Century: Change to manage the future”, the municipality of Herencia became a reference for business growth this weekend by bringing together over 200 entrepreneurs from the region at the “Leaders of the 21st Century” Business Conference. The event provided a space for learning, networking, and reflection on the strategies needed to face the challenges of a competitive and ever-changing environment.
An event inaugurated by institutional and business leaders
The conference kicked off on Friday with an inaugural gala held at the municipal auditorium. The event was presided over by the Mayor of Herencia, Sergio García-Navas, and the Deputy Minister of Employment, Social Dialogue, Security and Occupational Health, Nuria Berta Chust, who emphasized the importance of promoting leadership and innovation to strengthen the local and regional business fabric.
The evening was hosted by Emilio García Carrasco, a journalist and multidisciplinary consultant, and featured prominent figures such as David Meca, 28-time world swimming champion, who inspired attendees with his experience of overcoming challenges and discipline.

On Saturday, the Finca Monteguerras hosted the second day of the conference, where entrepreneurs participated in a series of conferences, roundtable discussions, and Team Building activities. These initiatives combined theoretical learning with practical dynamics in a relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by live music and moments of interaction among attendees.
Keynote speakers included Susana Ruiz, an expert in corporate communication, and Miguel Sosa, a consultant in technological innovation, who offered essential strategies for leading in a globalized and digital market.

Organized by the Economic Promotion department of the Herencia City Council, in collaboration with the Local Council for Economic Development and Innovation, the conference received support from important sponsors such as TSD, Tecnove, and Fibritel, as well as the collaboration of companies like Tecnove Fiberglass, Arquinur Arquitectura, and Torreblanca. This support enabled the realization of an event that aimed not only to share knowledge but also to recognize the efforts of local entrepreneurs.
