Herencia debuts a new and modernized paddle tennis court today that promises to enhance the playing experience and safety of users. This new installation adds to the three existing courts in the local sports complex and is designed to meet the growing demand of paddle tennis enthusiasts.
The construction of this paddle tennis court, completed in recent days, included the installation of a state-of-the-art lighting system and an automated mechanism for opening and closing doors, as well as turning on and off the lights. Additionally, the space now features uninterrupted video surveillance, providing a secure environment for all users.
The court stands out for its panoramic enclosure of tempered glass, surrounding the playing area completely. This structure not only offers greater safety but also allows for complete visibility from the outside, enhancing the experience for spectators. This acrylic design aims to provide a more immersive and secure playing experience for both players and the audience.
This morning, the mayor of Herencia, Sergio García-Navas, along with the Sports Councilor, Serafín Tajuelo, and the coordinator of the area, Ángel García Morato, visited the facilities to verify the details of the new infrastructure. “This action is part of the commitment of this Government team to improve and expand the sports complex of the town, meeting the demands of our numerous paddle tennis enthusiasts,” commented Councilor Tajuelo.
The new court, which will be open from today for all users, reinforces Herencia’s commitment to sports and the well-being of its residents, offering modern and safe spaces that promote physical activity in a quality environment. With this investment, the Herencia City Council reaffirms its commitment to continue improving local sports facilities, positioning itself as a benchmark in sports facilities in the region.
