The Hermógenes Rodríguez Secondary School (IES) in Herencia has achieved resounding success in the entrance exams for the University of Castilla-La Mancha (EVAU), held between June 12th and 14th.
Out of the 62 students from the school who took the exams, the majority successfully passed and are now ready to embark on their journey into the university world. While official statistics are yet to be published, the results for IES Hermógenes Rodríguez could not have been better.
In addition to the high pass rate, the students from the school have obtained exceptionally high grades, allowing them to have a wider choice of degree studies. In all their forms of Baccalaureate, the school has stood out for their performance in the exams.
In the Humanities track, Celia Iniesta Fernández-Caballero achieved a final score of 13.165, a result that bodes well for a promising future in the world of French philology.
Students in the Technology track also achieved notable results. Raúl Ramírez Marchante, from Villarta de San Juan, obtained an impressive score of 13.064 and has now set his sights on a career in computer science with a specialization in cybersecurity.
Javier Moreno Plaza, also from the Technology track, has achieved one of the highest scores in Castilla-La Mancha with a 13.9, pending confirmation with the publication of the official results. With his dazzling performance, Javier hopes to make his mark in the field of physics in the coming years.
All the mentioned students had honors in their Baccalaureate studies and serve as clear examples of the dedication and hard work involved in achieving these results. The results are considered excellent by IES Hermógenes Rodríguez, with many grades above 12, demonstrating the high level that the school is achieving in its Baccalaureate programs.
